Green Mountain Trail

Mountain Biking
Level of Difficulty: Intermediate

Green Mountain Trail is a 5.5-mile out and back trail that takes you from the Deep Gap trailhead parking lot to Lake Blue Ridge. Parts of the trail are a bit eroded and technical, but the ride will leave a smile on your face. From Aska Rd, you have a choice to either take the path to the left or the path to the right. They connect back up at the 1-mile mark, and the trail then continues on towards the lake. After the initial climb, you are in for a great downhill ride to the shores of Lake Blue Ridge, or you can make a right onto Long Branch connector trail at the 1.6-mile mark and try out the nearby Long Branch Loop Trail.
