Activities We Enjoyed Every Detail! We came from hot and sunny Florida to enjoy the cold of the mountains and found this beautiful cabin. We have enjoyed every detail in the decoration and comfort of this cabin. Our kids really have been happy staying here from the bunk beds to the decor; it has been very fun. For us it was relaxing, peaceful, and a wonderful time to spend together as family without worries of the daily life. We hope we can do it again soon. P.S. We definitely will recommend this cabin to friends and family. :) We Enjoyed Our Stay to the Utmost I find it distressing that only now that our party is preparing to leave do we consult this book to review the musings of those who vacationed here before us. Alas, the things we could've done that we are now out of time to do! Henceforth, I decree, we will read the guestbook at all future vacation rentals BEFORE the day of our departure! Still, we enjoyed our stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains to the utmost. Things we did: - Hiked the last two miles of the Appalachian Trail - Enjoyed amazing food at The Butcher and Bottle (Ellijay), Chesters, General Ledgers (make reservations to eat in the vault!), The Vine (wine tasting, music, and charcuterie!), The Sweet Shoppe, and Harvest on Main (Best mulled wine this side of the Mississippi) - Visited Mountain Man Comics - Escape Blue Ridge: We made it it through two escape rooms with time to spare! - Mercier Orchards: Go for the atmosphere! Things we wish we did more of: - Enjoy the outdoor deck and fireplace in the two hours before and immediately moments after susnset. It was glorious! Final Thoughts: We had a wonderful time! For the record, the ladies won the game of Sorry... Twice! Enjoy your stay here future visitors! Big thanks to our gracious hosts. You have a lovely home!
We Enjoyed Our Stay! The cabin was very nice and spacious, and it was extremely convenient to be able to just show up and have all the linens, towels, and paper products included. It gave us less things to pack and less to have to buy once we got there. The views from the decks were beautiful as well. There were also lots of large windows so even sitting on the couch you could still see the trees. There was a lot for the kids to do in the cabin in the evenings as well. We enjoyed our stay! My husband and my children and me live in Wisconsin and we do love it there. But you have the best of both worlds here in Blue Ridge; woods and warm!
We came with my adult children for a wedding at Aska Farms - beautiful as well. My children would've loved to stay here much longer, but we all have jobs to get home to. They loved everything about the cabin and the area. We may come back sometime in the future, I'm hoping~

Walk down to river was a little steep, but we caught lots of trout wading and fly fishing in the river below the cabin. We enjoyed the pool table, satellite TV, fire pit, hot tub, and every balcony. When we got here we experienced many great things. What a beautiful cabin with all the amenities you need! With 3 other couples the cabin was big enough and definitely cozy and comfortable enough. After finding Riverview Lodge on VRBO, I knew to book directly with Cabin Rentals of Georgia rather than paying ridiculous VRBO fees. I really appreciated the fact that Taylor called me back promptly after receving a question that I had submitted through a 3rd party inquiry. She was very helpful and I was able to book throug her which saved me over $250 in 3rd party fees.The property was extremely clean and well maintined. Many essentials were provided and the home was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels were super nice. I highly recommend Riverview Lodge and Cabin Rentals of Georgia!
