We'll Be Back!

Thank you to the great people at Cabin Rentals of Georgia and the owners of Bella Vista Lodge. We really enjoyed ourselves. We will be back!

We'll Remember These Days Forever

A southern Georgia family headed to north Georgia to get away from it all! That is exactly what we did—whitewater rafting (Raft 1), tubing (check out Vanet's Store—great breakfast and directions), fishing, waterfalls, and hiking! Great dinners on the grill—will remember these days forever.

Weekend Getaway

I rented the Skydance cabin with a few friends for a weekend getaway. The cabin itself was beautiful: the fireplace, hot tub, grill, and sleeping arrangements were all fantastic, and everything was incredibly clean.

Weekend Getaway in a Blue Ridge Cabin

We had a nice weekend in Blue Ridge at the cabin. There was plenty of space for us to spread out in the house. Plenty of cookware. It was quite enjoyable.

Weekend Getaway to the North Georgia Mountains

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at Sanctuary. The cabin was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed and more. This was exactly what we envisioned for our weekend and we will definitely consider this property again.

Weekend Trip To The Blue Ridge Mountains

Stayed for a weekend getaway with friends. Great view and location. The cabin was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. We have stayed in many cabins before and this one didn't disappoint. We had an issue with the thermostat and the crew was very responsive and resolved the issue. Loved the RED ROCKERS :-)

Welcome to a Happy Place

We watched the sunrise, saw the leaves change to sunflower yellow, then fire engine red and pumpkin orange. We gathered nuts and cracked them open and explored their many uses. Watched a spider weave her new web, listened to geese honk and a woodpecker tapping, crickets chirp, waved and flattened pennies as the train went by, hiked to a waterfall and went to a pet parade. We also roasted marshmallows and ate sticky s’mores, spotted two deer and just enjoyed being together. Some places we recommend are Chester’s, Joe’s BBQ diner (juicy burgers, homemade cakes and no-fat fudge) just kidding! We also loved the views at the cabin and just watching the childrens happy faces. Our favorite memory at the cabin is making pancakes and climbing down to the lake and sitting at the fireplaces. We also collected leaves, went on a tractor ride, pet alpacas, horses and dogs in downtown Blue Ridge. The grown-ups enjoyed playing scrabble, drinking wine and rum-apple cider, and relishing the peace and quiet when the sweeties were in bed and delighting in them when they were awake!

My mama was raised in the mountains so I figure its in my blood, I feel very content and stress free here. This is a lovely cabin with a beautiful view. We voted it our best stay in years we have been coming. If you're reading this, welcome to a happy place.

Well-Appointed Respite!

Knight Family:

What a wonderful home. This is more than a cabin! It is a well-appointed respite. I recently had a stroke and needed a few days to enjoy and relax. Everything was better than advertised. I am looking forward to returning with my family or a couple of friends wiht my wife.

Let all that is within me

Let quarrels cease

Let His Mercies be new every morning.

Many Blessings to all who stay here.

Week of Family Fun in Blue Ridge, GA
This review is from: Fallen Timber Lodge

Family gatherings are very special to us since we are only able to do it twice a year. From Alabama, South Georgia and even all the way from Oregon, so this week in the mountains was very special. We have decided against the beach from now on - it's mountains, blue skies and water! Monday was the perfect lazy, rainy day. Tuesday was a day of fishing and exploring - the gazebo alone has inspired a backyard getaway reminder. Wednesday, the 4th, was a great day of BBQ, laughter and good food. Thursday was "venture day" from precious boutiques downtown, a record breaking round of golf at butternut creek - nice course in Blairsville, a three-year old's first catch with Daddy, and Baby's first wave - it was a blessed day. On Friday we put the "ad" in Adventure when seven of us went whitewater rafting and only three stayed in the boat for the entire trip!!  Scars are tattoos with better stories! That night we REALLY appreciated the hot tub. All in all the week was FULL of Great food, memorable moments and family togetherness. Thanks!

Weekend Getaway to Blue Ridge, GA
This review is from: Riverview Lodge

I got a few friends together to go on a weekend two day retreat. We definitely got more than what we expected. The lodge was beautiful. The scenery was tranquil. We could not stop taking pictures. :) The weekend went by so fast that we wished we would have stayed longer. We played games, cooked, went walking down by the river and just got caught up on all the things we had all been doing. We even saw the train go by from one of the top floor rooms which was nice. Speaking of rooms... all the rooms were very nice. We are definitely going back very soon.
