We've done this for three years so far and this was the ABSOLUTE BEST place we've found! We cooked alot and enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen - even a meat thermometer which was needed!! We took family portraits in the treehouse and loved having so many bathrooms, too! The house is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed and we appreciated the owners sharing it. Wonderful Memories We came as a family to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. Spent days hiking and viewing waterfalls and nights together as a family. Will absolutely plan to come back again. We loved the fall decorations! The highlights of my mornings were spent on the porch gazing at the spectacular mountain vistas while sipping on coffee. We had a fabulous week visiting the apple festival in Ellijay, Mercier Orchards, hiking at Amicalola Falls, riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and checking out the new restaurants in town. We were blessed with a beautiful week of weather. Wonderful memories! Wonderful Memory! Our family had a delightful sojourn at "Sanctuary"—from cooking meals together, playing a copious amounts of board games, watching movies, or simply curling up on the couch with a good book, we found the means of making good time with good company. Be sure to stop in the local places for a smile and homemade peach jam. We enjoyed the falls near the Toccoa River Outfitter Store; easy to get to, and pretty to see.
