Activities Wonderful Weekend Getaway Wonderful Weekend Thanks To You Dear Knight Family, how can we thank you enough for letting us stay in the most exquisite lodge we've ever seen! Absolutely beautiful in every detail! The "Great Room" was ideal for making music, and we filled it with the strings quartets, Schumann, Mozart, Brahms. We were happy! The composers were, as well! Haha! We ate breakfest outside in the cool mountain air, warm sun, and bird songs. So sweet! So memorable! Last night we read out loud and laughed a lot over our own little feast of wine and cheese. It's all been a wonderful weekend thanks to you! Wonderful Weekend! A family vacation for us Mom + Dad seeking relaxition with our two kids in tow. What a successful weekend! We turned the temperature down on the hot tub and enjoyed family 'swims' in the 'hot pool.' Beautiful views! Loved the outdoor fireplace. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. Wonderful! We had a wonderful time at the beautiful Bella Vista Lodge. Spent time with family playing pool, cards, and sitting around the outside fireplace just talking. The beauty of the season is so colorful. We enjoyed riding the Blue Ridge train, visiting the Mercier orchards and store, the Long Creek Falls, and the Swinging Bridge. The view was absolutely breathtaking! The cabin was clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We've already booked it for a return trip in October! We celebrated our now 9-year-old son, Jack's, birthday here! He and we loved it! Hiking with dad, making a campsite and fire, talking and laughing in the hot tub, taking us to school at the pool table, and on and on... The town is lovely, too, and Mercier is a definite stop!
