You Can't Beat the View!

Communication with the rental company was always timely, thorough, and professional.

Getting there: I used Waze and it mirrored the separate directions they sent us.

Arriving: First thing you notice is the view. View of the river and Blue Ridge mountains is stunning. Also, pretty cool that the train runs along the river. Access through the front door was easy with the code we were provided.

Settling in: unlike most cabins, every room in this cabin had an en suite bathroom. So, our friends could pick from any room. Speaking of stairs, our friends walked down to the water. From the cabin you go down some stairs, walk a switchback, then hit some more stairs. Even so, we enjoyed the fire in the cabin and on the back deck.

What we did: first, we cooked a lot in what may be the largest cabin kitchen I’ve ever seen. Also, the dining table was a great size for our meals and card games. We spent a day in downtown Blue Ridge. Get there early and check out all the shops. We watched the sun set over the mountains every day. Amazing!

You Won't Go Wrong Staying Here!

The in-town retreat is a unique place to stay. You're able to hear roosters and cows while relaxing upon your back porch but you are just 2 minutes from town. It is a well maintained home situated upon a wooded lot that has many upgrades, including very comfortable mattresses. You won't go wrong staying here!

You Won't Want To Leave

We have been vacationing in the Blue Ridge area for quite some time and know what to typically expect when we arrive at the home. Those expectations were far exceeded when we first walked through the doors. The home is full—full of beautiful furniture, decorations, and appliances. It is full of things to keep you warm, to make you smile, to make you want to slow down and settle in. It needed nothing. The communication was top notch with the management company, Cabin Rentals of Georgia. The gravel/dirt road was a mess due to rain, but this did not affect the property at all. Depending on your vacation plans, do your grocery shopping on the way in, then open the doors, listen to the river, enjoy some wine, and wait for the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway to pass by. You won't want to leave.
