![]() ![]() Jacks River FallsWaterfalls Located in the Cohutta Wilderness Area on the Jacks River, this beautiful waterfall is the most visited site in the Cohutta and is reached by a 4.5-mile trail through rugged wilderness. After heavy rainfall, the falls transform into a powerful whitewater cascade, plunging 80 feet into the valley below. In contrast, during the hot, dry summer months, the falls showcase their striking rock formations and provide more tranquil swimming holes rather than roaring torrents. The falls are slightly past the halfway point if the trail is hiked from end to end. A great place to take an extended lunch break and swim in warm weather.
